citations

For class we were told to complete an all about me scavenger hunt. This included going to multiple sites to retrieve needed information. After finishing I had to complete a works cited page for the websites I took information from. Citing something is used so its not like stealing someones work but crediting them for it. In this case I had to cite websites which is a different form of citation than citing a book or any other resource. For website citings you need to include the website title, the name of the page, the sponsers, the author, date created, date accessed and the full URL. The MLA format for citations is to be double spaced and have a hanging indent. I used easybib.com as an alternative to perfectly citing the information myself. Using this made it so much easier to cite and I suggest using it.

Survey

Today Sarah, Katie and I created a survey using google docs. Our subject was food....what's better? It was very easy to use and is great for school projects or any other purpose to have a look at other people's opinions.

Image Generators

Today i was able to make three creative images on three deifferent image generators. Image generators are programs that allow you to tamper with photos to make them a little more interesting. With these you can add your own touch to any photo to make it your own.

Flixtime

Flixtime was a great learning experience! It was fun and i got to choose whatever topic i wanted. Flixtime is easy to use because all you have to do is gather pictures and drag them into your project. Flixtimes are great for school projects too.

Voki

Today I made voki. It was a fun and creative way to learn and add to my blog. Using a voki was easy and can be used over and over again. All you have to do is go to the voki website and start creating. A voki is even useful for projects! It can be used to present a theme to your project or even to add a touch of humor. A Voki is a great tool to use in any department of education.

My First Blogging Experience

Blogging has become a new creative experience for me....I am able to share what know and learn with others as well as my own thoughts and ideas. Because I am new to the blogging world i researched a little about it and it's really been helpful for me. Ive learned much about what a blog is, how to set one up, designing it to fit my personaility including a creative title..."Dont Get Your Knickers In A Twist"
